2024 Children’s Summer Camp
In its first year of operation, this children’s summer camp demonstrated its potential.
In partnership with the Toronto District School Board, the 6-week camp creates a space for children to learn African drumming and dance, create cultural arts and crafts, play Aware, visit Black-owned businesses, and attend weekly outings so that they can gain exposure to the world around them. The children learn about Black history with a view to strengthening a strong sense of self and cultural identity !
